Your headshots and digitals are the foundation of your first modeling portfolio and required by all agencies for auditions. These images are designed to be clean, natural, and true to you — showing your face, features, personality, and presence without heavy styling or distraction. Inside the Model Membership, our photographers will guide you through simple posing, natural expression, and camera confidence so your digitals feel professional while still feeling like you.

The Model Membership includes four creative themed photo sessions designed to bring variety, personality, and depth to your first portfolio. Each shoot is intentionally styled to help you explore different looks, moods, poses, and expressions — giving you images that feel diverse, polished, and true to who you are. From soft and natural to bold, editorial, playful, or artistic, these sessions help you discover your range in front of the camera while building a portfolio that shows more than one side of you.

We have designed 4 speciality events to help grow you in your modeling journey. You will go through our Color Analysis Event, Typecasting Event, Purpose Night, and our Posing Guide.

In-studio reveals are where you get to see your portfolio come to life. After each creative session, we gather together to view your images, celebrate your growth, and reflect on the confidence you’re building in front of the camera. These reveals are more than just looking through photos they’re a chance to see your progress, discover what poses and expressions feel most like you, and be encouraged by a creative community that is cheering you on. Each reveal helps you recognize your range, your beauty, and the model you’re becoming.

Once you complete your first 3 month membership, you will be given access to our Model Maintenance Membership which allows you to continue to grow your portfolio and keep your images fresh and in season. You are given access to our creative shoots throughout the year that you can jump into!

Who is Rayla Kay Photography?
Rayla Collins
Rayla Collins is the co-owner with her sister Rachel and lead photographer behind Rayla Kay Photography. With over 20 years of experience behind the camera, her work has been published in Cosmo and Women’s Health, and her heart has always been drawn to photographing young adults in creative, meaningful ways. As both a photographer and editor, Rayla brings a strong artistic eye to every session, helping each girl feel seen, confident, and beautifully captured. When she’s not creating behind the camera, you can usually find her enjoying a good cup of coffee or dreaming of her favorite place, Seaside, Oregon.

Rachel Dodson is a co- owner with her sister Rayla and lead photographer at Rayla Kay Photography. Her heart is for helping people discover their purpose, grow in confidence, and see the true beauty they already carry. She loves creating images that feel meaningful, emotional, and timeless. Especially through black and white photography that turns real moments into lasting memories. Rachel finds inspiration in connection, storytelling, and the beauty of places like Kauai, Hawaii, where she got married and where her love for warmth, depth, and emotion continues to inspire her work.

Carlie Flowers is a photographer and creative at Rayla Kay Photography with a love for fashion, design, and storytelling through style. She brings a unique artistic eye to every shoot, often dreaming up creative concepts, styling details, and even sewing complete outfits for past photo sessions. Carlie is inspired by all things vintage, loves thrifting for one-of-a-kind pieces, and has a heart for people and creativity. Her work brings a thoughtful, fashion-forward energy to the Rayla Kay team.

The Rayla Kay Model Membership is designed for the girl who wants to explore modeling, build her first portfolio, and gain real confidence in front of the camera. This membership focuses on creative photoshoots, modeling digitals, posing guidance, color analysis, portfolio variety, typecasting, and learning how to show up naturally and confidently on camera. It is perfect for girls who are curious about modeling, want more creative images, or are ready to build a strong visual portfolio while being supported in a fun, encouraging community.

The Her Era Membership is designed for the girl who is growing, changing, and stepping into a new season of life. While photoshoots are still a major part of the experience, Her Era goes deeper into identity, true confidence, belonging, friendship, mindset, purpose, and personal narrative. This membership is less about building a modeling portfolio and more about helping you becoming who you are meant to be, build stronger relationships with yourself and others, and step into your next season with confidence, hope, and purpose.
POSING EDUCATION & COLOR ANALYSIS
Our posing guide is designed to help each model develop confidence, body awareness, and a deeper understanding of how to present herself beautifully and naturally in front of the camera. As part of the modeling membership, this guided instruction teaches models how to find their most flattering angles, refine facial expression, improve posture, and create movement that feels both natural and visually strong. This is an essential part of building a professional portfolio, because confident posing can dramatically elevate the final image and help a model appear more polished, versatile, and camera-ready. More importantly, this experience helps models grow in confidence within their own bodies, allowing them to step into each session with greater ease, self-awareness, and presence.
Included in our modeling membership is a personalized color analysis experience that helps each model discover the tones and shades that enhance her natural beauty and photograph most effectively. Understanding your best colors is an important part of creating a refined, cohesive modeling portfolio, as the right palette can elevate skin tone, define facial features, and bring greater harmony to every image. Through in-person color draping, models learn which colors are most flattering for wardrobe selection, portfolio sessions, castings, and personal presentation, creating a more intentional and elevated visual presence. This experience not only strengthens the overall quality and consistency of a model’s portfolio, but also gives her greater confidence in how she dresses, styles, and presents herself both in front of the camera and beyond.
HEADSHOTS IN STUDIO
Our agency-ready model headshot session is designed for aspiring and developing models who need polished, professional images that meet industry expectations and make a strong first impression. At Rayla Kay Photography, we create clean, modern modeling headshots with expert lighting, natural retouching, and intentional direction so your features, bone structure, and expression remain the focus. These headshots are ideal for agency submissions, comp cards, castings, portfolio development, and personal branding, giving models the kind of professional presentation that feels both marketable and refined. Included as part of our modeling membership, this session helps each model begin with a strong foundation by creating the essential headshots needed for an agency-ready portfolio and a confident entrance into the modeling industry.
