Strength in Motion: Sportswear Model Photography with Norah

For this RKP Model Membership photoshoot, we stepped into a completely different kind of energy with a bold sportswear-inspired session featuring Norah.

Photographed at our Rayla Kay Photography studio in Post Falls, Idaho, this shoot was built around movement, strength, and confidence. Norah wore vibrant red athletic gear and worked with weights throughout the session, creating images that feel strong, modern, and ready for a commercial fitness or activewear campaign.

One of the goals of the RKP Model Membership Program is to give models experience with a variety of different concepts and industries. A strong modeling portfolio should show versatility, which means going beyond traditional portraits and giving models the opportunity to explore areas like commercial modeling, sportswear photography, fitness modeling, beauty photography, fashion, and lifestyle campaigns.

For Norah’s session, the bright red wardrobe brought an immediate sense of energy to the images. Paired with simple studio lighting, athletic posing, and weights, the final photographs have a clean commercial feel while still allowing Norah’s personality to come through.

Sportswear modeling is about more than simply looking athletic. Expression, posture, movement, and body awareness all help create images that feel believable for an activewear brand or fitness campaign. Sessions like this allow our RKP models to practice those skills while adding something completely different to their portfolios.

Our Post Falls photography studio works with aspiring and experienced models throughout Coeur d’Alene, Hayden, Rathdrum, North Idaho, Spokane, Washington, and the surrounding Inland Northwest.

Norah brought confidence and strength to this sportswear shoot, creating a series of bold portfolio images that show another side of what she can bring to the camera.
